There are several people, who have viewed the AC campaign, are keen to ‘Do AC’. Atlantic City Alliance, the marketing arm for the casinos operating in the city, has said that their advertising campaign is improving the perception of people about Atlantic City. The multimillion-dollar campaign, which has been showed to people residing in Baltimore, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York, has worked well for the city.
A survey was carried out to find out the effectiveness of the campaign. It revealed that almost 39 percent of the participating people, who watched the campaign, felt that they are more motivated for visiting Atlantic City than ever.
Don Marrandino, who is the Chairman of the Atlantic City Alliance, was happy with the response. He said that the campaign has primarily targeted the non-gambling activity of the Atlantic City. Things like entertainment, shopping, dining and spas at resorts are some of the things, which this campaign has bought to the eyes of the people living in those 4 states.
Don, who is also an owner of 4 casinos, said, “The campaign is meant for promoting an image of excitement, fun, great entertainment and stupendous hotels. Instead of showing the city as just the gambling destination, which most across the country perceive Atlantic City to be, we have showcased the resort on the whole. The word is being spread across the country that it is not just a one-horse town.”
